Competing in two crowded marketplaces, Gertrude Hawk wanted to build its business outside its home territory.
For the Retail business, we conducted research-driven competitive and market segmentation studies and analyzed consumers’ purchase motivations. Our indepth analyses gave insight to create a unique positioning consistent with the brand’s heritage. We developed a marketing plan including: advertising, packaging, signage, promotions, and in-store presence.
For the Fundraising business, we analyzed the product line, pricing, communications, and product development process, and recommended changes. We worked closely with the cross-functional leadership team to implement these changes.
Sales increased significantly with fundraising sales growing 22%.
